How do I disconnect others devices from my airplay? No airplay option in settings. (iPhone XR iOS 12.4)

To my understanding of AirPlay, devices you see in the list are those that you can connect to, not ones that can connect to you. AirPlay is a method for you to connect or mirror your devices to compatible devices. See if this helps explain, and there are a number of links available inside the document. AirPlay - Apple

My neighbors are connected (without my permission) I never allowed it I don’t know how it happened. I can’t remove them and I don’t have any Airplay controls or settings. I can see them in my list when I push the airplay button on music.. I can connect to them but I can’t remove them.

Thank you! This was helpful. I understand it more now, still wish there was a way I could remove them. I only found out because I saw a device in my list and was trying to figure out what it was for... my music switched to my upstairs neighbors house and I couldn’t figure out how on earth it was possible.
