Electrical burn iPhone charger

Does anyone know how severe the electrical exposure is from a charger burn? Fell asleep on my iPhone charger and got a burn similar to previous post https://discussions.apple.com/thread/7738375 Am pregnant and called my doctor who wasn’t concerned but just curious. Or is this not even an electrical burn and just a thermal burn?
