How do I install Quicktime on windows 10?

I just got a new surface pro with Windows 10, I need to install QuickTime on it but it says the file cannot be found in the cabinet file. Whatever that means

When installing Quicktime 7.7.9, the file that is missing is actually Microsoft VC80 CRT version 8.0.50727.6195. Download it from Microsoft here first and install: https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/confirmation.aspx?id=26347

Then install Quicktime and it will work. Solution came from here: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/250555828
