Tap Apple Card

Tap three dots at top right

Tap Card Information > See Security Code

Whether the Apple Card has a CVV code or not is irrelevant.

When being asked for a CVV code and an Apple Card is involved, the Security Code is what needs to be supplied.

Think I did know how to look as pointed to where he could locate it😬

The Apple Card does not have a CVV number. You can check get a security code instead:

To find your card number and information, follow these steps:

1. Open the Wallet app on your iPhone and tap Apple Card.
2. Then tap the more button .
3. Tap Card Information.
4. Authenticate with Face ID, Touch ID, or passcode.

You see your name, card number, expiration date, security code, and card network. To copy your card number so it can be pasted, press and hold Card Number, then tap Copy.

On your iPhone:

Settings > Wallet & Apple Pay > [Apple Card] Info (toward top) > Card Information > Security Code

If you’re ordering directly from Apple using an Apple device, I’m a bit surprised you’re being asked for this.

Rereading your post, I thought you were correcting me, which you weren't, so you're welcome. I'm actually not feeling well, so no offense if what you see in your email, appears to be less than considerate. Chalk it up to a fellow who has actually been pretty sick the last few days.
