iPhone Not Available for Pickup

I called the store because ordering online for in store pickup shows as unavailable everywhere. They do have them in stock in store but you have to go to the store to buy them. They do not have online order for instore pick up function available because it is the release day.

Great question! It probably says its unavailable because people already reserved them all. A few years ago I encountered this too, and was told by the apple employee to check early in the morning, I think around 6:00 am? this is when they count inventory on phones that just arrived to the store. so wake up early and reserve it then (on the day of)
