MacBook pro early 2015 13 inch deteriorating and swollen battery

Hi! Over the last year or so I have been experiencing major issues with the battery. According to coconut battery, I now how only 45% of design capacity, while in December 2018 it was around 70%. Not only that, the laptop has been unstable on that desk because the lid got expanded in the middle. The issue, it seems, is pretty much like the one that 2016 models are being recalled for. Do you think it is possible to get it changed for free?

Here is the coconut battery online to show you the deterioration

Many thanks

Hi, I have the same problem on the same model. It happened to me last year. The battery is swollen and that's why the Macbook doesn't sit flat any more. You can actually feel that the corners of the trackpad jutting out a bit. I had the battery replaced last year and it happened again last month. Have spent quite a bit replacing the battery and the top cover on the keyboard side.

So far other than replacing the battery again Apple has not been able to offer anything else. A bit disappointed.
