iPhone 7 - model number A1779

Hi,

My name is Jasleen Matharu, I have had my iPhone 7 for just over a year now and it recently started exhibiting "no service" regardless of me being in an area of network. I have reset all the settings and this problem isn't going away. My iPhone model number is A1779 so it is one that has a problem.

I wanted to know how I can go about repairing my phone as in the link below it says it can be repaired for free.

Kindly advice on how to move forward.

Sorry the iPhone was meant for the Japanese market.

How your authorised Apple dealership got it is a mystery.

Best you ask them.

Warranty and services are valid in country of purchase, yours is in Japan not Africa.

if you know anyone in Japan, you can send iPhone to them and let them bring to an Apple Store for evaluation.

So the phone can only be repaired in Japan?

I will be traveling to Italy next week do you think there is a possibility to have it looked at there.

I will not be in Japan any time soon. surely there is another solution?

I bought it from Nairobi, Kenya from an Authorised apple dealership.
