Apple Watch displaying red and pixelly

All of a sudden today, my Apple Watch started playing up. As I awakened the screen, the screen had very thin black lines across the screen, then the screen started changing colour to red. It just leave a red tinge on the screen (making some thing harder to see). Sometimes it’s clearer than others (the attached pic is quite clear but sometimes the red text is almost swallowed by the red tinge). I’ve tried resetting it but it’s still the same (the red tinge and lines were still on the screen when the Apple logo was there.)

Any suggestions to fix this? Or is it another trip to the Apple store?
