iPad 1st gen Netflix app

Hi, I've got an ipad 1st gen. i want to install Netflix app. I've tried downloading iTunes 12.6 and purchaed it through the App Store and then tried to access netflix on the iPad through the purchase do apps but it isn't prompting me to download and older version version. its saying it's not Compatible. Any other suggestions please?
