You may have your mute switch enabled. It is a physical switch on the left side of the phone above the volume buttons. If you see orange, the phone is muted.

Increase the Volume:

Increasing the iPone’s volume (unmuting it) may obviously do the job. So, try that.

Shut Down the Re-power your iPhone:

On your iPhone, go to Settings > General > Tap: Shutdown. Then turn your iPhone back on by use of then power button, or plugging it in to charge it.

Verify the “bing”:

Have someone text you to see if you get the “ding” once a text is received.

Elsewise:

Where Sounds are Controlled:

Sounds for Builtin apps are controlled in Sounds, where as sounds for Apps you install are controlled in Notifications

Check for Notifications:

Swipe your finger down from where the clock is, atop the screen, then swipe your Finder left or right,

Using the Charging Cord:

When plugged in, the phone might vibrate every time it’s plugged in. So, if it is loose, then it’s jagging and vibrating coincidently to every muted call. So, purchase a new charging cord and wall adapter (if needed),
