early this morning received an email telling me my Apple ID is locked for security reason so I immediately do the verification process to unlock it but when I got into the Card Info that's the time I felt like its wrong,I've checked the link and I felt my heart dropped 6ft below. I didn't finish the verification and left the site. I have changed my password already. I would like to ask if what I did was okay? What else should I do? Please help. :(
If all you supplied was your Apple ID and password, and you changed your password, you should be okay.
Apple won't send you an email/text telling you your account is disabled/restricted or will be disabled/restricted. You will find out the next time you try to log in somewhere.
You are welcome. If you want to make your ID more secure, you can also add 2 Factor Authentication to your account for more security. If the attempts continue, you might want to consider a name change.
