Cant hide dock on iPad
Just got a refurbished iPad from Apple and unable to hide the dock. Down swipe just brings up the keyboard. Can I make the dock smaller?

You cannot just hide the dock. It won't be there when using an App, but on your home screen the dock is ever present. When you are using an App, you can bring the dock back up however.
You cannot change the size of the dock, that's hard coded into iOS.
