Find location of locked Macbook

Hello.

My Macbook was recently stolen, so I submitted the lock request through find my iphone. I recently got an email telling me that my Macbook has been locked, but it does not have record of the last location where it was locked at. I would assume the information of where it last was when it was locked would be recorded even if its taken offline again. So I was just wondering if there is a possibility to find that information so I can have an idea of where my stolen Mac might be, or is it a dead end?
