2019 Mac-Book Pro Battery Dying at 65%

I have a brand new 2019 man book pro 13in and it continues to die at 65%. I have contacted apple and they have not been much help.They ran some test and did not find any issues with battery. I just bought it last Tuesday the 10th and kept it for a week took it to apple and they did not know what was going on with it. The gave me a brand new Mac book pro same version and it is doing the same thing. I have dowloaded google chrome, Skype, and Microsoft office. I don't know if that has anything to do with it. But if anyone has any advise that would be helpful.

To fix the "shut down at 65 precent problem, do this:

Connect the charger an leave it charging all night.

Reset the System Management Controller SMC

Your problem should be solved

There is no penalty for doing SMC reset procedures multiple times.

i would bring the computer back to apple. It sounds like it's defective.

how are you charging your laptop?

Please be as detailed as possible.

Are you browsing and the laptop goes dark?

Also, the apps you mentioned wouldn't have anything to do with your issue.

I charge it only when it’s needed. I do not charge it while I was using it. I do not charge it at night. When it gets to 100 I unplug it.

Yes I will be on my college work and the computer completely shuts off. All light are off. Will not turn back on with out connecting to charger

There's no specific need to unplug it. The way the battery management works, it will stop and won't charge unless the charge level drops to a certain level. This is done in pretty much all modern devices with lithium rechargeable batteries.
