Downloading music on a flash drive

If you are referring to Apple Music tracks, they can't be played or transferred via a flash drive.

I kind of had the same question. I want to move songs from itunes to a flash drive. The car we now own does not have a cd player but Honda said just put your songs on flash drive and play them. I think someone told me they had to be a playlist but from there I am lost...Thanks for any help.

If you are referring to music from Apple Music, you don't have the "rights" to play that music outside of an Apple music application.

If they are purchased iTunes tracks, export them from iTunes. An internet search should find the steps.

All our purchased CDS were loaded on MACs in itunes. How do we get the music we purchased to go on flash drives for 2019 Honda? If we cannot get it back from itunes, how do we copy the original CDs to flash drive. We have always been Mac and iphone users but we find it increasingly cumbersome to continue with Apple products.

Your CD music is most likely already in the MP3 format and stored somewhere on the Mac you use to place it on your phone.

In iTunes, Preferences > Advanced will show you where your music files are stored.

Simply use Finder to copy them from there to an attached flash drive.
