cant connect to personal hotspot

I’m using an iPhone XR to provide a hotspot for my iPad at work and when I try to connect it gives me the following error


I have no idea what to do I’ve tried restarting both devices several times, resetting network settings on the phone, clearing website data on safari on both devices and nothing has worked.

iPad Pro 10.5-inch, Wi-Fi, Cellular

Your iPhone is certainly eligible for support (if it’s your personal phone and you haven’t changed countries), so presumably the iPad is not eligible.


You said its an iPad at work. So perhaps your employer owns the iPad and has restricted its use. Or perhaps your employer owns the network and has restricted it.
