Is it possible to answer VoLTE video calls with iPhone.
Basically I have a SIP based intercom device https://www.2n.cz
It is connected to carrier VoIP network. If i make call to android Samsung S9 or (huawei mate 20 pro), it offers me option to answer through video. Both of them is in VoLTE network. So it is native calling feature.
With iPhone it only offers me to answer in audio. For video it offers me FaceTime, but when pressed it says not available.

No. VoLTE is VOICE over LTE, not video.
Back in the days you used to call via 2G or 3G even you have had an LTE-enabled phone. VoLTE allows you to make a call using LTE network, not 3G or 2G.
Previously LTE was only used for data. Video call is data. So you don't need VoLTE to make a video call over LTE.
Still we are talking about different things. LTE does not have dedicated channel for calling, like 2G or 3G --- I am aware of that.
VoLTE uses data to make calls. For a user they will just appear as regular calls.
What I am telling is, that I have a camera intercom, which uses SIP --- data. If I call to android phone with VoLTE support I am able to answer the call with Video.. with calling function without having any separate application for it.
My concern is can iphone do the same?
As far as I understand, it uses VoIP to make calls. VoIP also support video.
Also, as said before, video does exist and work on Android devices, so VoLTE does support video.
