My iPhone messed up when I dropped it and my husband gave me his iPhone it’s the exact same kind of iPhone but I can’t figure out how to remove his Apple ID and put my Apple ID in the phone he gave me any help will be great

The best way is that he is erasing the iPhone with his Apple ID (see here: https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT201274) and then you can set it up with your Apple ID.
If you had activated iCloud backups on your old iPhone, you can then also restore its content on the new one while it starts up.
