when I want to connect to the Wifi at Starbucks I’m directed to a pop up page. When pressing „proceed to internet“ I get redirected to the pop up page again. I was wondering what causes the problem and how I can fix it. It only appears to occur at Starbucks
Starbucks, among other selected public wi-fi sites, will pop a separate browser page requiring you to agree to their terms and conditions for their Wi-Fi usage. Sometimes this is a checkbox, or a hyperlinked word (e.g. I agree), that then gives you access to their wireless service. If you follow their instructions and agree, then you get connected to their wireless router. This may subsequently pop a new blank window containing the words "Connected."
Maybe you need to accept the terms of use on the Starbucks page before it will allow you to continue. But I'm only speculating since I don't use the Starbucks connection page.

Does it require a password & maybe you saved an older one?
