Watch faces lost color

Ok, I know WatchOS 6 is literally only a couple hours old, but I just finished the update on my watch and my watch faces lost their color. My infographic faces are all greyscale now, including the new faces that came with the update. Not sure if this is a bug or what, but it makes me sad. I need color in my life.

TIA for any feedback.

I use the analog Infographic face and I had the same problem. My solution was to hard-press on the face to put it into editing mode, hit the Customize button, and on the first page, turn the crown to "BLACK". Do that and the colors will be back.

Ok. Let’s go through the faces together.

With regards to both Solar Graph and Solar Dial, the colors are fixed to that blue color. So that’s working as expected.

Meridian has a few layers- you change the dial color to black or white and those are the only options avaible. If you swipe over to the second page of the Meridian face, you can change the complication colors from multicolored (which is probably what you want) or to other colors that basically just change the text of each complication. Can you swipe between the pages?

Infograph and Infograph modular are largley the same as Meridian- changing the color away from multicolor just changes the text of the complications on the face.

You may have more success trying to change and customize faces from the Watch app. Hope this is somewhat helpful. WatchOS 6 is a learning experience for everyone right now.

Ohhhhhh I think I figured out but it’s still a bug IMO. I have to keep the color selection black, white, or multi for the complications to have color. Any other color selection and the complications go greyscale. It didn’t work like that with OS 5 I could change the color independently and the complications always kept their color. Hopefully this is fixed. But in the meantime I quite dig the solar dial face anyway.

thanks for all your help 🙏🏻
