Can't update because it says my phone is not connected to the internet

I can't update my watch because it falsely say's my phone is not connected to the internet. Why?

I had to reset the network settings on my phone which solved the problem.

Switch your phone to Airplane Mode for a couple of minutes and see if that solves it, if not re-boot the phone which may work. Fingers crossed for you.
