I updated Safari to 13.0 and my favorite extension (1password 6) won't work. Is there any way to put Safari 12.1.2 back? I have a backup and tried to replace Safari 13 with 12 and it did not work, said that safari was part of the Mac O/S and can't be modified.

Thanks for killing all my extensions without warning Apple. This was a really crappy way to treat users. If i knew it was going to do that, I wouldn't have installed it.
And no, the extensions I want back on are not in the pitifully small (and unsearchable) list. Fail.

You are probably already aware, but the current version of 1Password 7 works with Safari 13.0
If you have a Time Machine backup, you can restore your computer from a backup made just before you upgraded to Safari 13. Boot into the Recovery Partition to do that.
My Mac just said using this method is not allowed because Safari is necessary for the MacOS.
You can't restore just Safari. You have to restore the entire computer backup.
1Password 7 restored the extension for me, BUT, 1Password forced a subscription for it to activate a few of the features such as editing log-in info (like changing a password, etc).
Sneeky.
