Watch OS 6 Estimated to take 5 Days

I upgraded to iOS 13 earlier today and am now trying to update my Apple Watch Series 3 (GPS) to WatchOS 6 but it is estimating it will take 5 days. I've tried restarting both the phone and watch but run into the same issue when I start the update.

I know it's not an internet issue as I have a friend on the same network who was able to download and install the update in about 40 minutes. I tried chatting with Apple Support but they were less than helpful.

Any tips are greatly appreciated!

Current software:

Phone: iOS 13.0

Watch: Whatever the last update prior to 6 was - can't see software version since it is trying to update
