iMessage and FaceTime not working in IOS 13

Hello,

i updated to iOS 13 yesterday and now my iMessage and FaceTime are not working.

i tried the solutions that Apple and everyone else posted and they have not worked. I even did a full factory reset on iPhone and still it’s not working. It’s stuck on waiting to activate and then fails. I’m entering my Apple ID and password correctly.

before iOS 13 everything worked fine.

I've run out of ideas about how to fix this.

So I’m wondering is anyone else having this issue? Is this an iOS issue?

Do you have access to another WiFi network where you can try? That has worked for several people.

Honestly, I don’t know how it worked but I think this does the trick. I had my Wi-Fi turned off and my cellular data on and somehow iMessage and FaceTime started to work. Anyways, thank you for help!

You are welcome. Except for SMS messages, Messages/FaceTime require WiFi.
