iMessage and FaceTime not working

I am using the iPhone 8 with the iOS 13.5 and my iMessage and FaceTime are not working

when I try to active them I get stuck at awaiting for activation

what do I do ?

Try these steps: If you get an error when trying to activate iMessage or FaceTime


If the iPhone has not recently been set up, can you activate iMessage/FaceTime using another Apple ID?

How long has it been (approximately) since iMessage/FaceTime was first unable to activate?


If it's been longer than a day, try the steps listed under "Still not activated after a day?" in the Apple Support article and then contact Apple Support.


If it's been less than a day, follow these steps once it has been one day since you attempted to activate FaceTime/iMessage.
