Unable to send iMessages to myself on my iPhone X

Hello All:

Just a short update. I still cannot send iMessage to myself using my iPhone X running iOS16.2. I can receive iMessages from all other Apple product users. I can even send iMessages from my iPad and MBP to myself no issues. Even the iMessages sent from my iPad and MBP to myself show up as blue bubble iMessages on my iPhone. So in short, I can receive iMessages with zero problems, and I can send iMessages from other devices, but not my iPhone X. I too have tried all of the web search and video "solutions" posted, and none of them work. However, I did notice one difference, if I use my Apple ID Email address to send an iMessage using iPhone X in lieu of my iPhone phone number, the message is sent as an iMessage (blue bubble) to myself. It appears that this inability to send iMessage to myself on my iPhone is linked to my phone number. This has me stummped. I ask everyone who is has this issues, is to try using your Apple ID email address to send an iMessage and report your observations. Thanks!

It appears that you do not understand my issue, so I will attempt to clarify.

I am able to send text messages (green bubble) to anyone, including myself. I am able to send iMessages (blue bubble) to other iPhone receipients, but when sending a "text" message to myself, all messages are sent as text message (green bubble) and not iMessages (blue bubble).

At no time did I state that all messages were unable to be sent. The opposite is the case, all messages are successfully sent, whether green or blue bubbles accordingly. The problem is just sending messages to myself are ALWAYS text (green bubble) messages and not iMessages (blue bubble). This only started AFTER upgrading to iOS 16, and still presists with iOS 16.0.2. Therefore, you link is not applicable for my issue??
