ios 13 and fitbit

Since downloading the iOS13 system, my fitbit will no longer receive text messages. I have researched the issue on fitbit's community and they indicated that it is an apple issue. Any insight is appreciated. I have deleted the app, re-installed, shut down, shared notifications)

First, please go to your phone's Bluetooth settings and let me know if the

Ionic is connected/paired with it.

If it is. Let's check the notification settings of

your phone's messaging app.

Please go to your phone's Settings.

Then, tap "Notifications".

Then, tap "Messages".

Make sure the following are configured:

Allow Notifications—On

Alerts > Notification Center—On

Show Previews—Always or When Unlocked

set it to when unlocked if you don't want message content to be seen on your phone just from who its from

Now, please sync your watch to the Fitbit app.

This should then work

Same issue- no messages, no weather connection, no sleep data connection from app/phone to fitbit. Definitely an apple update issue. I've tried literally EVERY other fix for this ( of course we've all checked to see if message previews are turned on!) All settings have been checked (phone message settings, fitbit message settings, bluetooth, connection etc), waiting for next apple update. I can't believe this update has taken 1/2 of the use of my watch away, it's absurd ha

I have the Fitbit Versa (8 mos old) and iPhone XS (7 mos old). Everything worked perfectly fine and I loved the fact that I was alerted on my Fitbit of incoming phone calls, text messages, calendar notifications. I can't have the volume turned up on my phone, as most of us in my work environment. After IOS 13 update and ALL of the fixes that have been recommended, NONE of the notifications show up on my Fitbit. I am constantly missing important phone calls. Also, although I have vibrate on, that isn't working either. IOS 13 has now rendered my Fitbit a glorified watch. We pay too much money for items to function daily and it's unacceptable for them to place a message on the sites that they are working on it. Apple AND Fitbit need to get it fixed! I'm on my way to switching to to Samsung and Galaxy for phone and wearable technology.
