Can't get into iCloud for Windows on my Laptop

Can someone tell me how to log in to iCloud for Windows? Every time that I try, I get a message that says 'To sign in with this account, go to appleid.apple.com, however when I go there, I don't see anything that will help me. I have logged on through the web and there are no issues (i.e. apple ID and password is correct) but I go back to the app and try again and just get the same message.

Problem solved. No, the error didn't give any instructions and nor could I find any on the website. I think it was related to something completely different though. The domain name I was using for iCloud was claimed by the school I work for three days ago and therefore all the employees had to change their addresses by mid-November. I took this opportunity to change mine and it solved my problem. Guessing I couldn't register something new with an email address I was going to have to change soon anyway. Thanks for the assist though.

The error you're receiving, does it tell you what to do on the Apple ID website? What specifically does the error say?


Which version of Windows are you using?
