iOS 13 draining my battery

Yep - SE that I hadn't updated for a whiel but battery life was fine, 96% capacity. Updated to 13.1.2 and now its ruined in terms of battery life. Can literally watch it drain doing nothing and overnight in airplane mode with nothing running.

Tried a fresh restore and so forth and no change.

Please don't give me the takes a few hours, its been days of this mess. It's a laughable and why I refuse to buy any other Apple products.

I worked with Apple Support on the phone. They couldn’t fix it, so set up an appointment for me with the Genius Bar at my local Apple Store. I brought it in for my appointment and they were absolutely awful, including insisting that I was using my phone the night before from midnight to 8 a.m., because my phone registered activity and battery drain. Even though I was sound asleep from midnight until 8 - I have cancer. The “genius” implied that I was lying and clearly on my phone. Apple was much happier to blame my battery drain on me lying about using my phone while asleep than actually fixing the problem.

On 13.2 now. Interesting find last night, went from 80% when I went to bed to 0% when I woke up. According to the battery usage in settings, Siri was using 100% of my battery all night. I have Siri turned off. Why is Siri using 100% of resources when iphone is sleeping?

I am using iphone xs max. I have a terrible battery drain after the update ios 13 and it suddenly reduced my battery capacity from 100% to 98%. Hey apple guys can you fix this battery draining issue. Many of my friends have the same issue. And it will be a great help for every iphone users.

No, you cannot downgrade.

Then apple must sort out this issue. I hope i am not the only effecty. How to complain this issue at higher level

I'm now being offered 13.1.3. Has anyone already tried this? Does it make things better or worse? There's no mention of battery life in its blurb.

I’m with 13.1.3 once it’s available. No difference spotted. Good or bad? :(
