I can no longer swipe up to close apps/ switch since iOS13 update for my iPhone XS.

Swipe up from the bottom to the middle of your screen and hold until you see the App Switcher.

For me updating to 13.2 Beta Version of iOS worked Fine . You have to Register to be a Beta Tester and After that you should be able to download and update to 13.2

To Fix it Update to 13.2 Beta . Then its gona work again

Big problem, I cannot use my iPhone x anymore. I cannot use the function swipe up to get started after installing 13.1.2.

What is Apple doing about it after so many days and many people having the same problem? Does Apple care??

I have same problem. I cannot use my iphone. There is no any solution when this problem happens. The only thing I have to do is than switching off-on.

This doesn’t work. We have to restart our phones to get to the home screen. Once I click the first app I CANT get out of it unless I use Siri and sometimes that is even difficult to where I want to go. I didn’t have this issue before the update automatically happened and now I am stuck in an app unless I restart my phone. I am obviously not the only one who is dealing with this issue, so y’all need to find the bug in your new update and fix it. This is very inconvenient to a lot of your customers. Please fix it ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have not had a problem with this until the last OS update last week. Now difficult to open the initial screen by swiping up, or closing a program by swiping up. I tried the swiping up and holding mid screen but not helpful

I just use the on screen home button. It was in assistive touch. So, I’ve been managing through that. But, I’ve just been told to update the beta version, but it’s not working. Soooo, I have no idea.

Mine isn’t working either. I have done the usual swipe from the bottom to the middle, but it won’t let me. If I’m in an app it just swipes down in the app and it continues. We are literally stuck in the app until a notification comes up or I am using Siri. This needs to be fixed ASAP.
