mid 2011 imac tool bar faded, and other contrast issues

Hello,

My tool bar and app dock are appearing "ghosted" or faded/very low contrast. Other icons on the screen also have this issue, however some areas are fine, like this text box: it looks completely normal to me. Is this the video card failing? Or is there a fix I can try? The computer is not under warranty. All of the hardware and video card info is below. Thank you in advance for your time and help!
