what happens if it says it can't find the photos library when running photos repair

when I try to run repair for my photos library it stops at 10% and states it can't find the photo library. Any solutions?

Can you open the library and view the photos? Do you know where the library is located on your hard drive? Go there, hold down the Command+Option keys and double click on the library package. Do you still get the "can't find library" message then?


What version of system and Photos are you running?

Where is the library located? If on an eternal HD how is that drive formatted and connectetec to your Mac?

What model Mac do you have?

How much free space do you have on the boot drive?
