how do i make memoji stickers go away

I agree. Apple has been silent on this. There doesn’t seem to be a way to toggle this off and it is a horrible feature. Swiping them off the screen does NOT keep them there. They persistently show up instead of my favorite emojis.

All I want to know is how do i get rid of the annoying stickers?

There does not appear to be a way to do that currently.

This is not Apple supplied support. This a community of volunteers that answer answerable technical questions.

That doesn’t work.

They still show up next to the emojis on the emoji keyboard. And it wouldn’t be so bad except they show up before the regular emojis so I have to scroll past these garbage ones.

how do I get rid of them completely? Like if I don’t even want to know they exist? Never see them at all.

Agree KeriNyx. The process documented (and which I've completed too) has failed to hide the awful memoji stickers. Surely, Apple needs to expose the hiding of these "stickers" in their settings - Apple, listening??? Maybe FIXED in iOS 13.2?

Having the same problem. I delete them from favorites and turn them off as an app and they just keep returning. I want them OFF my phone completely and there doesn't appear to be a way to do that. They are annoying and keep appearing as if they are recently used.

This solution is garbage. It doesn't work. I'm sure Apple recommends it because it wants to promote these crappy stickers ad nauseum. Apple, you listening? Get rid of these annoying, crappy stickers!! And BTW, it took me a while to figure out the default in the the frequently used (i never used them... why they are there is beyond me) is a purple unicorn... really? Unicorns? Okay then, make these stickers like unicorns... impossible to find!!

Okay, thanks. I've never needed support so I went to Apple Support and ended up here. Who knew you can't get Apple Support on the Apple Support site? All I want to know is how do i get rid of the annoying stickers?

Thanks for the clarification. Apologies for my ignorance. I just assumed (bad on me) from the "Apple Recommended" stamp that Apple was running and moderating the site. I certainly appreciate volunteers like you helping (or at least trying). Thanks.

They do both of these things.

They do it without answering questions. They will, if nobody else does, point you to other Apple resources.

Their preference for Feedback is the link I provided. In the terms for the community, debating Apple Policy and decisions they have mode or not made are not permitted. So, no "why" questions. No demands or requests to reverse a feature change.

Thank you for that. Shooting the messenger is more often the result when we simply explain the reality of things.

Please fix this apple! Just add it as a keyboard in settings, why change the already existing system and just add a unwanted awful keyboard next to my frequently used one, whereas i always get to see them. Driving me insane! Fix this fast!
