My Apple Watch 5 does not have a Compass app

I was installing the right app.

Yesterday evening i started the iOs public release update to 13.1 and tomorrow morning the compass app magically appeared on my watch. I was on 13.1 PB2 before, so perhaps that had something to do with it.

TL;DR: if you have a problem with this, check if you are on beta iOS and try going to a public release.

o suggest you make sure everything is updated. Then go to App Store on the phone and make sure compass app is installed then just to be sure re boot phone and watch. This is what I did and the compass app appeared on the watch

Would you look at that! I completely overlooked this app since it didn't include the same icon that the apple watch uses. I went ahead and installed this on my phone - and it immediately appeared on my watch. Thanks!

I just went to App Store and typed in compass. I am on iOS 13 with Apple Watch 5 worked for me

I both had the Compass app installed on the iPhone before pairing with S5 and reinstalled the compass app. Restarted both watch and iPhone, still no compass on the watch, same situation as before - just cloud icon that i cant press in watch App store.

Same here. When I search for the Compass app on the app store from my iPhone (iOS 13), there is no Apple Compass app - just a bunch of third-party compass apps.

And when I open the Watch app on my iphone, when I go to the app store, it just says I can now search directly on my watch - no option to even search/install from my iphone. Supposedly, you should be able to also use your iphone for this.

I’m having the same problem. It’s the right Apple compass and shows both the iPhone and watch version on the App Store on the phone. I’ve deleted the app from my phone, reinstalled and restarted both phone and watch, but the compass won’t appear on the watch but is working on the phone.

I sorted out. I did not have compass installed on phone as soon as I re installed it on phone it came up on watch.

This did not work for me. I still do not have the Compass app. Are there any other suggestions?

How did you install the compass app? I have tried but get a message that says "iPhone Required"
