Remove bedtime from alarm section iOS 13

Since the iOS 13 update, under my alarms section there is now a bedtime alarm permanently there that can’t be deleted. I’ve turned off all the functions but it’s still sitting in my alarms ahead of all my actual alarms that I use.

How do I remove this from my alarms section now with iOS 13?

There's a much simpler way. Tap Change next to the unwanted WakeUp alarm. Scroll all the way down (yep, there's more hidden down there). Choose Edit Sleep Schedule. This takes you to settings in the Health App. Toggle Sleep Schedule to Off.

Really silly stuff... I had to restore my phone from the previous day backup to remove "bedtime alarm"... that worked, but in the process I lost all my photos/videos since 2011 (not backed up to iCloud)! Fortunately I had a manual sync of all the photos/videos updated regularly to my PC so I was able to re-import all of them back to the phone using iTunes and get some (not all) of the stuff IOS does "for you", memories compilations and stuff like that... it seems to be reprocessing everything ( a lot of files) and adding back those features as it goes.

Totally unnecessary steps if they simply allowed the user (and OWNER by the way) to just remove that alarm!

That's ok, there's always that one person... I can respect your very own personal taste. Unfortunately that's not helping all the other users who would very much prefer to be able to disable this feature after having enabled it, just like it is expected by most people for most features, enable/disable with a simple switch to restore the feature to its original status... you know, the usual stuff like 99.9% of iPhone features work ;)

Given how few people are complaining about this and how the questions about why some strange alarm is going off seem to have decreased, I don't think I'm just one person. However, neither my opinion nor yours will get Apple's attention in this forum. If you want Apple to know how you feel, use the feedback link provided above. If enough people express their dislike, perhaps Apple will change it. However, I suspect most people don't care.

You should always buy the device that best meets your needs. If that's not an iPhone, don't buy an iPhone.

Meanwhile, if you generally get up at the same time, either use actually use Bedtime or create a recurring alarm. If you don't have a regular wake up time, set the alarm by asking Siri to set an alarm for you. Siri won't accidentally turn on Bedtime but will set (or turn on an existing alarm) for whatever time you specify.

The Reset All Settings workaround no longer works in iOS 14. The person responsible for Bedtime at Apple discovered that we were getting rid of it, and she talked the developers into fixing it in concrete. Apple is saying, "You may not remove that annoying Bedtime banner at the top of your alarms ever — under any circumstances. So there."

I tried the reset it doesn't work on my iPhone XR. Funny though my wife's iPhone 11 does not show the Bedtime alarm? So annoying.

P.S.

After resetting my iPhone XR, i tried to restore backup, and all **** broke loose. I got the dreaded Startup Logo Loop. In order to reinstall I had to unplug iPhone, press quickly Volume up, then volume down, then hold right side button until the logo appeared and then disappeared, and then my iPhone showed a connection to USB, so I had to connect it, and then open up iTunes, and reinstall iOS 14 from scratch, and then restore from backup.

It wasn't fun. Oh and in the end, that stupid Bedtime alarm is still there. Why on iPhone XR and not iPhone 11?
