My text messages coming from icloud
I upgraded to to the 11pro max and my text messages are coming from my cloud email. When I go into send/receive my phone number is greyed out.

It means that iMessage is not activated through your phone number. Try to turn iMessage off, turn off Wi-Fi, make sure cellular data is enabled, turn iMessage back on and see if it resolves your issue. If you still can't activate it, contact your carrier.
