My husband recently upgraded to the iPhone 12. At least twice a week, his default for sending text messages reverts to sending them from his iCloud email address. He continually fixes it to send from his phone number, but it keeps reverting back. Any ideas for a permanent fix for this issue? Thanks!!
Did you start a new message thread (not continuing messages that were started)?
Are these options selected below in
Settings > Messages > Send & Receive >
YOU CAN RECEIVE MESSAGES TO AND REPLY FROM > Make sure all entries are selected (check mark) below
START NEW CONVERSATIONS FROM >
We have followed the instructions noted previously. The issue is that the phone keeps reverting back on its own to start text message threads from an email address.
