Auto-rotate on iPhone 11

I have just upgraded to the iPhone 11, and the auto-rotate of the screen doesn’t seem to be functioning. My rotate lock is off, so I’m not sure if there’s a setting I’m missing? But rotating my phone has no affect on the screen, and I’m unable to watch videos full screen... can anyone help?

Go to your home screen by swiping top right to bottom left. You will see a lock button, if it's red it's locking screen rotation. Click it to black and problem solved. Hope this helps.

Hi ShystaZeb,

It sounds like you had a question about rotate working for your iPhone, and I want to help.

Does the screen rotate the controls if you are using the Camera app? That's a good indicator that rotation is working.

Check out these steps here:

If the screen doesn't rotate on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

If you've taken those steps and restarted your iPhone and the issue persists, I recommend contacting Apple Support or visiting the nearest Apple Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider to assess the situation further:

Contact - Official Apple Support

Apple - Find Locations - Location Selector

Good luck!
