2 external screens

What hardware do I need to connect 2 external screens (HDMI or VGA acceptable) to my MacBook Pro mid 2012 ?

Available connections:

  • 2x USB 3.0
  • 1 x Firewire 800
  • 1 x Thunderbolt

Thx for any help !

Use multiple displays with your Mac - https://support.apple.com/HT202351

"Check how many displays your Mac supports: Choose Apple () menu > About This Mac > Support, then click Specifications. On the web page that appears, the number of displays your Mac supports appears under Video Support."

Tech. specs. for that model at:

https://support.apple.com/kb/sp649?locale=en_US

Graphics and Video Support

  • Intel HD Graphics 4000
  • Dual display and video mirroring: Simultaneously supports full native resolution on the built-in display and up to 2560 by 1600 pixels on an external display, both at millions of colors

To me it looks like only one external display plus the MBP's own display.
