My keyboard writing the wrong character
When I write y it writes z and when I write @ it writes ". It is not just that. there are lots of things wrong with it. I couldn't fix it so I have to use the screen keyboared.

Go to system preferences/keyboard/input sources and make sure there is ONLY ONE item on the list, and that the name of that item is "US". If you are not normally typing in English, let us know what language you do use.
