iPhone 11 on iOS 13 having Bluetooth connectivity issues

So it makes you wonder about car companies that "haven't tested" one of the world's most popular smartphones 50 weeks after its release.

Perhaps you should remember that next time you are shopping for a new vehicle.

I haven’t heard of a single problem with BMW, Audi, Mercedes or anything.

I know someone with a BMW M2 that can even update the system settings of his car himself because of special extras he got when he bought it at a BMW Specialist.

I have the same issue where I connect my JBL CHARGE 3 speaker and it start to cut out. It eventually play normal again and then starts to cut out. Not sure what’s going on but I’m not liking it. My girlfriend has the same phone and her phone doesn’t have that problem.

This issue is nothing to do with your car. It’s the **** phone.

My 1 month old IPhone 11 sent away to CZ for repair. Came back no better.

My independent supplier has today given me another new IPhone 11.

Watch this space....... I shall try it for 48 hours 🤞

Update: Second IPhone 11 also has Bluetooth issues.

Clearly, this problem is with later 11’s, as earlier seem to work fine.

Hugely disappointed with Apple. Even an acknowledgement would be a bonus. I’d suffer this if there was a solution on the horizon.

Back to my bomb proof Iphone 10, and a refund for the useless, not fit for purpose IPhone 11.

Well, I actually pre-ordered my iPhone 11 Pro Max 64GB Midnight Green and I actually had to wait for about 4 weeks, since the demand was very high.

So, I actually got one of the earlier models.

My fiancee got his back in April this year, and his phone doesn’t seem to have any issues.

My iPhone 11 does not let people hear me on Bluetooth. It cuts out when connected to my DS3. Now my discussion says what the problem is with my iPhone. Why do Apple not admit there is a problem. They must know. Does anybody know what their intention is. When asking my blog was removed

Well, I just tried something that wasn't Apple advice. I cleared all data from my iPhone 11 as if I was selling it. Then did a full restore restore from cloud. Apple said it has to be restored from laptop or computer.

after restore I paired my Bluetooth earpieces and guess what. People can hear me. HOPE IT LASTS. will let you all know. Just have to try and pair with car. DS3.

My iPhone 11 problem was people couldn’t hear me when using a Bluetooth earpiece. I don’t know about connection to cars.

I reset the phone by clearing all data as if I was going to sell it. Then I downloaded a backup from a computer (not an iPad or another phone) it has to be a laptop or mainframe. This allows the latest firmware/software to be downloaded. If you use a backup copy you might reload the same software that has the Bluetooth fault. So far my problem seems to to have been sorted. Here’s hoping because the phone is great. As the saying goes “watch this space”

I have tried deleting, establishing a new device. Pairing, connecting. Pairing from car radio? Pairing from mobile device all over the Lexus owner’s manual for Bluetooth audio connectivity. As others have stated, I had no issues with my IPhone 6.

There is a hack on You Tube that says to reset all Networks. That worked for a day. But after 10 hours in the house, and starting for work the next morning, back to “ no connection “ on my audio display

I still wear my Fitbit and only disconnect it when in the car. Once out of the car I just Sync it with the phone again. Nd all good

You only need to ‘ Forget this device (Fitbit) once. It still Syncs when you want it to without a permanent Bluetooth connection

Well, tomorrow is IOS 14 day.

if my connection issues are not solved I’ll be contacting support direct to get them to fix my phone.

It’s far too dangerous to be trying to reconnect the car while driving. I am disappointed. And such an expensive phone too!

This might not work for everybody but this is what an Apple engineer told me to do. You must restore from a laptop via Apple in iTunes. First backup your phone into iTunes. Then Do a full erase. (The same as if you are selling your phone). Then restore from iTunes. (NOT CLOUD OR ANOTHER PHONE OR IPAD). This is because when doing a restore from a laptop or computer iTunes downloads the latest program and firmware.

I did this and so far my problem seems to have been solved. My Bluetooth earpiece stayed connected ok but people I was speaking too couldn’t hear me. Now they can. I don’t know if it is permanent but one can hope. I don’t know about the connection to your car, my taxi doesn’t have that. Good luck all.

I downloaded iOS14 with the hope that this Bluetooth issue would finally be fixed and this 10 month frustration could be over. Unfortunately, iOS14 in its current release DOES NOT fix the issue. I have experienced it 3 times since downloading. There is NO change from iOS13.
