Apple/Yahoo Financial--when are the issues reported in this thread going to be resolved? Why have a discussion forum if all it does is let the narratives fall on deaf ears? For the amount of money paid to Apple--either in the form of their phones, or the cost of certain apps, it would seem reasonable for an occasional reply from someone-in-the-know could make a definitive statement about when these issues are going to be resolved. When I first chimed in, 3 separate updates had been released (including 13.0). There has now been a fourth (13.1.2), and yet this problem still exists. Why it became a problem in the first place is a mystery as Stock symbol abbreviations shouldn't change, behavior should not change, variables associated with the application shouldn't be negatively impacted by an OS upgrade.... Only when stuff is scrambled or re-sequenced merely for the sake of change (without a bona fide improvement to the design) should we have experienced this--and since I don't see a delta in the design, this just looks like shoddy programming to me.
Oh--and apparently zero testing, too.
Frankly, I have too many other legitimate things to do with my time than to be an unpaid Alpha or Beta tester of your products--whatever they may be.
Allow users to rid themselves of "Default" applications--especially if you can't be bothered to respond to your customers to: A) acknowledge the problem is real, B) advertise potential solutions/workarounds, or C) communicate a date certain when you expect the problem to be resolved, and D) follow-through.
I failed to mention in my original post, I am using an iPhone 7.... I added this statement for relevancy. I recognize behaviors could be different based on model, although, ideally, it should not be.
