Issues With MacBook Pro Touch Bar

About two months ago I purchased a 2018 MacBook Pro with Touch Bar and I installed Windows 10 via Boot Camp. After installing Windows 10 I noticed that the keyboard backlight controls don't work. I've been waiting for Apple to release some type of update to fix this issue but nothing so far. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this issues?

  • Turn off Ambient Light Sensor
  • To dim the keyboard backlight, you will need to press the 'Dim' button on the Touch Bar several times (I had to do it 10+ times).
  • Once the Keyboard backlight is fully off, if you touch the Brightness key for backlight, it will allow you to step-up the keyboard backlight.

macOS works normally, but the installed driver for Bootcamp seems to be buggy.

Yea I did this and it worked. It's a little weird how the backlight level doesn't appear on the screen when adjusting the strength. Do you think Apple will fix this bug anytime soon? Or is it not a big enough deal.

I suggest creating a report in https://feedbackassistant.apple.com .

If there are enough complaints, then, yes. Let me also check the 2013 rMBP. The last time I used it, it worked properly on the 2013.

That's weird. It must have something to do with the touch bar and its software. I tried use Apple's feedback assistant but I couldn't for some reason. Maybe because I don't have a developer account?
