Notes Checklist Option is greyed out
I wish to apply checklists to my Notes [Version 4.4 (719.81) on macOS Sierra 10.12.6].
Notes Help refers to a Checklist button in the Toolbar which is greyed out as is the Format button.
Menu > Format > Checklist
is also greyed out, as are several other Format options in the menu.
I have tried saving my Notes both locally and in iCloud, neither seem to change the options.
In Notes Preferences I have checked:
Enable the On My Mac Account
I have gone through all of Help, the Menus and Preferences. What have I missed?
