Those are scam calls and are not from Apple. The number shown as originating such calls is typically spoofed and is not the actual number that is making the call. Also see: Avoid phishing emails, fake 'virus' alerts, phony support calls, and other scams - Apple Support

You and everybody else. Apple isn't the only company being hurt.

iOS 13 has a new option in Settings > Phone > Silence Unknown Callers. If that is turned on it sends any call not in your Contacts to voicemail without ringing. I've been ignoring any incoming call not in my contacts anyway so this accomplishes that without the phone even ringing.

Calls from “AppleCare” did not come in on my iPone. They were on Vonage VOIP.

The whole caller ID system is corrupted. On my iphone today I had another 6 calls all from the same area code and prefix as my Apple/ATT iPhone. I suspect that others got calls from my number. I have had calls from my phone representing VISA MasterCard card services.

All this illegal but no action from FCC, FTC, FBI

Software guys should be able to fix this. Why not?

I have had threats on my life that came from my local propane company.

Police not interested.
