MBP returned from service and time machine is failing to restore

Hi,

I have a macbook pro returned from service and a time machine is failing to restore. I actually have two separate sources that time machine is backing up to. The message is "An error occurred while restoring from the backup." Could the problem actually be the MBP SSD drive that is failing? Is there any way to test the health of the system SSD drive? What other things should I be considering?

I’d call Apple Support, and describe what’s (not) happening, here. Ask them. This Mac just came back from repairs, so it should work fine.
