iPhone 11 Pro Max won’t charge wirelessly

Brand new iPhone Pro Max 512gb, last night didn’t charge wirelessly.

No case on phone
Belkin charger that works on my XR

See the image attached, support claim it was charging but there wasn’t enough power getting through so the battery didn’t charge. Their solution was to turn off a feature that is in place to extend the life of the battery.

Im thinking I just need to return the device as it is clearly faulty, any one else had these issues?

There is the feature of the phone charging to 80% and stopping which is supposed to help with battery life. You should be able to go into Settings / Battery / Battery Health and switch off Optimized Battery Charging.

In iOS 13, a new charging algorithm will keep your iPhone at 80% when charging overnight. That algorithm will determine when you typically wake up and start the day, and restart the charging sequence to give you fully charged battery when you wake up.

iPhone 11 Pro doesn’t work either. It’s bigger than just the Max.

I'm honestly shocked none of the major tech news outlets have this on blast yet. It may be time to tip them off.

I have the smaller 11 Pro and i'm having the same issue. So it's not just the MAX that has the issue.

My 11Pro stopped charging with 13.3 update and it started working after a restart. I will keep an eye if it repeats.

I have the same problem: wireless charging stop working on all of my wireless chargers. Mine is Iphone 11 Pro Max 64Gb running iOS13.2. I solved the issue by rebooting iPhone. It’s now working.

Not for me either. Charging only works ONE TIME, immediately after removing the phone from the charger it does not charge until it is restarted. Pathetic.

iOS 13.2 "fixed" my problem for all the Qi chargers I have, at least for now. No reboot necessary since 13.2 dropped.

iPhone 11 Pro and same issue. My wife’s phone and my AirPods still work with my nomad charger. My iPhone is non-responsive.
