Apple Watch won’t Screenshot after WatchOS 6.0

Hi all,

Ever since the latest WatchOS update (6.0), my watches screenshot function no longer works.

The setting is enabled in the Watch settings and I know I’m doing it right because I’ve had the Apple Watch since they first came out. For some reason, it just isn’t happening.

I’ve also hard-booted the watch because I also had a separate issue after the update - I lost Mobile Data on it and had to reactivate it. Very strange.

Thanks!

Hey, Pinstrypsoldier.

I see that, since upgrading your Apple Watch to watchOS 6, you're unable to take a screenshot of your Watch. Good job on the troubleshooting you've tried, and I'm glad to help.

Make sure that both your iPhone and Apple Watch are up to date:

If you're still not able to take a screenshot, unpair your Apple Watch from your iPhone, then set it up again:

Let me know how that goes, and take care!
