Upgraded to ios13 and noticed that when you are in an email message, it now only has two quick options, delete and reply (both in the bottom right corner). Previously it had a row of options, including move and archive. How do I get this icon back, as the current custom swipe is cumbersome sorting through hundreds of emails.

You can tap Edit in the upper right of the mailbox you're in. Then select the email you want to move and at the bottom of the screen you should see Mark Move Delete.
Or you can Press/Hold on the message in your mailbox (e.g. Inbox); then tap Move Message....
If you're in the email, tap the left pointing arrow in the bottom right corner; then tap Move Message
Or you can swipe the email from right to left, tap More, Move Message...
The above are the only ways I know how to move a message to another mailbox.

Click that 'reply' icon and you should see various options (reply, reply all, forward, delete and below that flat, mark as unread, move message, archive message, move to junk. For some people who downloaded IOS 13 the move icon would not mve anything but this has been fixed in 13.1 released today.
So Apple went from one touch operation “click” to “click” - “hold” - “move” - “click”.
Let alone the non symmetrical (and right hand bias) nature of the new message setup.
very questionable design change that should be reverted or at least available for customization.
You can add Move Message as a swipe option--go to Settings . Mail . Swipe Options and add it to your left or right swipe. Makes it super easy.
I recommend adding it to your swipe Right since that only has 1 option vs. swipe left which always has 2 (or 3 option)s by default.
Tried all the above solutions over the past half day and can say that apples intent is still lagging.
half the time the action does not complete and the email remains in the main inbox.
we will see how long the c-suite at apple tolerates such poor implementation.
