I want to get rid of an old Apple ID period

I no longer have access to this very old Apple ID using a non existent email address

GTE turned into Verizon June 30, 2000 19 years ago

evert time we update a new iPhone or Mac computer this old Apple ID keeps coming up. I know it associated with old iTunes music I purchased I no longer care if it’s lost I just want it gone period!!
